About Dr. Card
Dr. Rex B. Card, D.D.S., PA, a native of Raleigh, graduated from Broughton High School in 1972. He then attended North Carolina State University where he was very active in many clubs and organizations and graduated with many honors in 1976. He attended the University of North Carolina School of Dentistry in Chapel Hill graduating and receiving licensure in 1980. That same year, he started practicing dentistry in an associateship in Franklinton, North Carolina where he practiced for four and one-half years. In January 1985, Dr. Card started his practice in Raleigh. He has been in his new office location since December 1990.

Dr. Card is a Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry, the Academy of Dentistry International, the American College of Dentists, and International College of Dentists. He served as president of the North Carolina Academy of General Dentistry, the North Carolina Fourth District Dental Society, the U.N.C. Dental Alumni Association, and as Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the N.C. Dental Society. He has served as a deputy examiner for the North Carolina State Board of Dental Examiners, on the Dental Care Council for the National Academy of General Dentistry, and as a delegate to the American Dental Association. In 2006, Dr. Card served as president of the North Carolina Dental Society. He regularly attends many seminars and continuing education courses.
Dr. Card is married and has two children. Over the past several years, he has been very active in many church, civic, and community activities. His hobbies include golf, fishing, and hunting.
